"WHATEVER", "WHO CARES?", AND "NEVERMIND" are common expressions among today's youth.  Some people decry the apathy of the so-called "Generation X".  They point to the decline of the country and place the blame on the young people.  Why is this?   Since when has it become a crime to do nothing?  Before you point out the non-role of some European countries during the first years of the Holocaust as contributing to the rise of a tyrant, note that it was Hitler who was doing something.  If he had spent his time reading books, listening to music, or chatting with friends, millions of lives could have been saved.  So why are people against apathy?  The term "Slacker" is used derisively to describe people who have given up on action.  Do those finger-pointers want a society where people act in their own interest?  More often than not, when someone acts in his or her own interest, someone else suffers.  Pine Tree State Mind Control envisions a world where nobody does anything at all.   Praise Apathy!  All Hail Sloth!  "Thinking is for the gloopy ones" is a line from the famous book and film A Clockwork Orange, in which a vicious young criminal is changed to a productive citizen through mind control techniques.  Imagine, if you will, a society in which there was no need to express individuality.  Imagine if subversive thoughts and aggressive behaviors were eliminated.  It sounds like heaven, doesn't it?  Pine Tree State Mind Control wants to invite you to heaven.

There has been a lot of talk and writing in recent years about the "victim mentality" rampant in the USA.  People won't take responsibility anymore.  Having emotional problems?  Blame your parents.  Having financial problems?  Blame the policies of the government.  Having physical problems?  Blame your employer.  Blame criminals for your stress levels.  Instead of finding where to place the blame, people should be more interested in finding solutions to their problems.  The best solution is to stop thinking about it.  Watch television instead.  Listen to some music.  Be passive.  Wake up in the morning, eat, go to work, eat again, and go back to sleep.  Our fear of becoming robots rests in the suspicion that other people will not become robots and will find some way to exploit us.  Under the new systems, this will not be the case.  Relax!  Take a nap.  Pine Tree State Mind Control will be using art to change people.  Subliminal messages will be planted all over the northeastern US (including in this very flyer you're reading now!).  Our slogan is "Art versus Reality versus The Soul", and the meaning of this will become more apparent as you spend more time on this web page..  For now, though, don't worry about anything.  Sleep.
